Yamaoka live in Kitahiroshima City, Hokkaido, Japan, a small town of about 56,000 people.
It's a small town with no movie theaters, live houses, or clubs.
This album was made in my room this summer using only KORG volca modular.
Everything was recorded in real time, no DAW was used.

Controlled by the Roland MC50 sequencer, Kenichi adds a human touch and “life” feel to the tracks, reminding us with pleasure of early, more abstract Berlin School acts.
